I'm looking to remove the AC entirely from my truck (a motor swap is planned) and I'm looking to eliminate a lot of the bs under the dash so I can set up a custom glass dash. I want to keep the defrost since I drive my truck often, but all else needs to go. Has anyone done this that can give me details on everything I can eliminate?

I don't know if this will be much help but on my Ranger there isn't really anything I can remove from under the dash because most of the underdash parts are shared with the heater.

You can pull the AC without loosing the heater, but you're still going to have a huge heater box under the dash.
Not to mention, you need the AC delete duct to run from the blower to the heater box.

Baha and SinCity are correct; all you can really eliminate would be the evaporator core and the expansion vlave inside the evaporator case. And I guess the defroster switch and the AC relay on the outside of the evaporator case, if you want to be technical. But you'd need to retain the evaporator case for the blower fan air to move to the heater core, defroster, vents, etc.

So I don't think that's worth the bother.
