Anyone ever do a body lift for there mazda or ranger? I can't figure out if I do a 2" if I would need new steering linkage and brake lines and stuff

It would prob need new lines, u will have to add to the steering linkage u will also have to add to your shifter controls. To me its a waste of time doing all that when u can just lift the torsion bars and put blocks in the back

Problem is my torsion are tightened all the way and the truck is barely level so adding blocks in the back would give a tilt

Reindex the bars! Works for lowering go the other way ! Should raise it some ! ? I would think!

what are u tryin to achieve??? i got 24's on my 86 b2000 i was thinkin about a body lift but i think they look terrible i cranked my torsion bars up maxed out the suspension on the bump stops so i cut them out put heavy duty 4x4 shocks on the front and back front shocks are for a 90s bronco rears are stock mazda 4x4s i also had to cut my upper a-arms and extend them 1/2 inch because my wheels where pulled in do to raisin the front suspension

I just want a body lift cause there cheap and i want to slap 35's on it, but i dont want to have to buy extensions for brake lines and things like that

ur definitely gonna have to get extended brake lines as far as the steering u"ll be good for a 2 inch body lift i was reading alot on mazda truckin for the body lifts for these trucks

Body/suspension lifts look dumb on a 2WD truck.. If you want to lift it, then buy a 4x4..
