Taking FOREVER

So about 3 weeks ago I took my engine to a machine shop that I was referred to. The work I wanted do was complete tear down clean, bore, hone reassemble block complete valve job and place head on block.. I got new rings, pistons, main bearings, rod bearings, freeze plugs and a complete gasket set... Not that hard for a machine shop to do on a 2.6L engine. And so far he's gotten it tore down and keeps telling me I'll be getting to it soon I'm backed up in backed up.. Well y did he tell me he would do the job I've asked him to do if he was backed up... Now I'm seriously thinking about goin to pick up my shit and take it else where. what do u guys think. I know good and well it doesn't take 3 weeks to do a 4 banger motor. Thanks for yalls time

Funny, Oct. 2011 a local machine rebuilt my B2200 cylinder head, took like 6 work days, claimed they "were busy". Now they're closed. Maybe they weren't as busy as they thought, or were too busy to stay in business !!!

Lol. Well I've nvr heard of this guy and someone told he he builds his race motors so I said hey if he does that I'm pretty sure he can do mine in no time... Wrong. Dudes bullshitting and keeps sayin he's backed up. I'm about to go pick it up and take it somewhere else and spend little more money

Go pick up your stuff(make sure you get it all) and tell him he's had enough time.
