Just did the Weber swap on my 87 B2200. Love it, stronger, especially on the low end, smother power, and a cleaned up engine. The factory Mikuni and it's air cleaner is up for graps for the cost of shipping.

Glad the Weber worked out for you. I like my Weber 32/36 DGEV just fine, about 7 years now.

Which weber did you go with? I installed the weber 38 and it gave me more middle and top end. 3000-5500 rpm is strong. The cam I have and advanced timing helps with my torque.

Congrats on the weber. Check out my build thread.

32-36. No engine mods other than the carb. New gas tank going in this weekend, then done for a while. Love this little truck.

how much gain did u feel with the weber. is it a noticable power difference? i been wanting to get one but i want to make sure the improvement is worth the money. i thought about the 38 tho cause like dude said, more middle and top end power and the way i drive, im normally in the higher rpms.

Lets just say that it was a night and day difference. Before I could barely light up 2nd in dry pavement without it bogging our eventually. Now with the weber 38, I can smoke 1st and second. In the slight wet I can spin em in 3rd. I am bored 20 over with a 260 grind cam too.
