switching 2wd rear end with 4x4 rear end

Hey i have an 89 b2200 and im wondering if a rear end from a 89 b2600i would fit on my 2wd????

The spring perches on the 4X4 axle are welded on top of the axle. If you want to cut them off and re-weld them to the bottom, it will fit.
Keep in mind the 4X4 axle has a lower ratio than the 2WD does.
You will need to swap the 2200 flange onto the 2600 rear in order to bolt up the drive shaft.
