U joint replacement

Ok so as u all know I have a 1986 mazda b2000. On that note, im having to replace my u joints in my driveshaft, now heres the prob how the heck do they come out? Normally on other cars theres A snap ring but heres no snap ring? Just a solid ring with notches in it. Anyone know how to get the rings out so I can get ujoints out?

There is a snap ring it's just on the inside of the uj caps look at the center of the uj and u should see a little black snap ring. I didn't think there was one either and I hammered and hammered and even used a vice to try and get that bastard out and then I looked again and there it was. After that they came right out (with a little coaxing)
