I am looking for the cheapest and or easiest way to lower my 94 b4000. I got a quote the other day for a 2 inch in the front and 4 inch in the back. total cost with labor was $1,040. I have some friends who would help but none of us are familiar with the rear suspension. Im completley new to lowering trucks. =p
what parts do i need to order and where should i order them from? should i get a pro to do it?

Any pointers or suggestions?

thanks

I see a lowering kit for your vehicle, 2" front, 4" rear drop. $70 at JC Whitney

I want to say you can do it by yourself, but I dont know you. Anyone with mechanical skills could help you easily tackle this project.

Only pointer, when you think you have all the bolts tight, tighten them one more time. Very bad things happen when parts of your suspension start moving when you driving.

Hey thanks for the reply! I looked and could only see it lowers just the rear. and looking at other lowering kits, it seems like it has different parts. Also it didnt let me put in the year and that kit might be for the much newer Mazdas. I am pretty nervous about getting the wrong kit. When I took it in to get a quote they would only let me walk out of there with a price. and not the kit they were gonna use. thanks again for the reply
