the mazda 626 and ford probe 2.2 had a turbo from the factory. you could try sourcing parts there.

You'll be doing it piece by piece I'd say, I'm not aware of an off the shelf kit that will fit the 2.6.
The 2.0 and 2.2 turbo engines that John doe referred to are not part of the same family as the 2.6 and as such pretty much nothing will be compatible.
That said, do some searching on g6 turbo conversions, a few people have done it in the past, and from memory there is a pretty good turbo build up thread over on Mazda trucking.

are the manifolds different from 2.2 to 2.6? Couldn't you do an adapter plate or something similar to make it work????

Yeah, motors aren't related, not worth the work to try and adapt things from one to the other. For the effort and cash you'd spend you could have a manifold made. The 2.6 g6 motor has an exhaust manifold that is already very similar to a turbo manifold and you could make an adapter plate for the outlet of it.
Also, as a side note, the 2.6l engine from the early non injected b2600 is different to the b2600i. The early engine is actually a Mitsubishi 4g54, the later injected g6 is similar, but basically shares no common parts with the 4g54
