Ok, so i found on Craigslist a guy parting out a b2600 and has a the motor and all wiring and computer for 150$.
looks complete, he says it doesnt run, he bought it like that. thinks maybe a bad headgasket, either way im going to rebuild it before i put it in my truck, the junkyards around here are pretty pricey sometimes, i think its pretty good deal, what do you all think? Im going to pick it up tomorrow morning.



I have to pull it, since its still in the truck, so what all would i need from under the hood? I know there are all the vacuum lines. Just dont wanna have to drive back down there(hour away 1 way) for some things i forgot. Any help is appreciated.

If anyone knows a thread on what all is needed for swapping a 2.6 into my b2200 that would be cool too. thanks.

i would take anything that is mounted or wired to the motor personally just to be sure, and if your truck is a b2000 or b2200 your going to need the tranni because I don't think the b2000/2200 tranni will bolt to the 2.6. and id pull any sensor that is hooked to the ecu.

trans is different, damn. He has it, for another 50$ i can get it. might have to get that later. but cool, ill grab what i can then.
