Dropped spindle/factory wheel question

It's probably been asked before, but I can't find a definite answer. I have factory 14" wheels right now. If I installed dropped spindles, can I still roll the stockers (at least for now), or am I going to have to go up to 15"or 16"??

If i remember correctly you have to run a 16" to clear drop spindles

I installed some a month or two ago. I've got 17" wheels. I can tell you with certainty that you can not run 14" stock steelies with a 2" drop spindle.

I know where a set of 15" wheels are. Or do I need to be on the lookout for 16's??

And here I just had someone else tell me that a set of 15" Pathfinders just cleared...anybody tried that??

I guess it would depend on the offset of the wheel and such
