Went to the junk yard today with tuna after he tipped me off on some good parts... Came put with way more that I expect. ://i866.photobucket.com/albums/ab221/jiffyzx6/20130620_180912.jpg

Tilt column, locking glove box, good condition center console, lx b pillar panels, and a factory cruise control button that I've never seen before... All in perfect condition, at a price no one would turn down. Now I need to figure out what else I need to get to do factory cruise control now that I have that button lol

Good day at the yard, thanks tuna for taking me to get it and helping to get it all out.

You'll need a Cruise computer, actuator, vacuum hose, cruise control stalk (on the steering column) and possible wiring harness updates to your dash and main harness.

Your truck may be set up to handle cruise but you'll need to confirm...

Here is a good source for adding cruise to your ride - you should go back and get all this stuff from that truck!!!

Sweet thanks for that info I'm definitely going back! The column didn't have the combination switch with cruise control button just the button from the dash but I can find it somewhere else but I'm definitely going to get the other stuff. Do I need to get the computer from the right kick panel? Will it still work when I convert to a weber?

The factory cruise control has a separate cable, goes into a separate unused fitting/housing already on factory carburetors (I used that fitting when I installed my aftermarket cruise 10 years ago). Once I went Weber, I had to loop the cruise control cable over the end of the accelerator cable using one of the extra fittings from the CC kit, works fine still. Another alternative would've been to clamp (think cable clamp, like from Ace Hardware) the cruise control cable to the existing/intact accelerator cable.
