I would think that as long as u get a cone filter and the pipes/tubes that fit your intake and filter, u should be able to run it to your bumper, wheel well, or where ever u want. cheaper that way then to try and find an entire setup for a certain vehicle. I had a buddy who built his own for his intrepid using tubes and a cone filter from advance, worked great, and when he wrecked it he put it on his Nissan Altima and his Altima screams now. sounds good, does the same thing, keeps his motor a little cooler, funnels the air for better delivery, and it sounds bad ass. so even if u cant find what civic intake fits your truck, it shouldn't keep u from having one, as long as its air tight and u can mount it securely, you should be fine.

Yup i just went to autozone and bought a piece of tubing and a filter and made it work. Gotta support that maf sensor though.

How did you ensure that filter received only cold air?

My stock, b2200, EFI air box at least tries to get air from near the grill. (My air box and MAF sensor look very similar, possibly identical to 2600i gear)

I'd like to get more, colder air to my filter, but it didn't seem super easy, so I've been procrastinating.

I may run a large hose from a source of cool, not buffeted, slightly higher pressure area to the in side of the OE airbox.

I cut up an Integra tube for mine, you can see it in this pic from back when I was fixing the front end accident. I noticed a loud Hissing noise from the MAF and a deeper growl but not much on the power side of things. A little better MPGs but not much. Also not shown in the pic bec it was torn apart I made a baffle/ box to enclose it from engine heat out of aluminum and some foam against the hood. I'll try for some pics later when I re-install it (I'm running the stock airbox bec I just smogged it- damn CA smog- failed me bec the intake had no smog stamp)

Nice. Thanks.

I'm considering: Heatshields around stock airbox, Swiss-cheese OE airbox, and radiator support.

Per the Factory Jet kits instructions, I added several half inch holes to the top of my CBR600f2's airbox. Note that in the case of an FI B, the bottom of the airbox would get the Swiss cheese treatment.

Might try that sucks they don't make any aftermarket parts for the b2600i motor I did not know that till I bought the truck I know back in high school I was able to buy headers and etc for the 2.2
