Well I contacted Scott at B2600i.com and he was helpful but I've got a problem today I went to work drove fine til I pulled in the parking lot and starts idling like shit misfiring and backfiring really bad now so I didn't think nothing of it since I've been driving it for a week with it misfiring and what not. But I went to leave work and my battery was dead turned over once then nothing not even any clicks so I had a Buddy give me a jump. Would turn over but really weak so I let it charge for a bit and the same thing. What can this be. The ecu? A battery? Also I took the computer out and took cover off and nothing looks burnt or fried.. please someone help me out. I didn't have a voltmeter with me to test anything

Sounds like the battery has died. Old age? How old is it? If it's only 2 or 3, then maybe something is wrong with it or something is shorting and causing it to die. It was still really weak cranking even while the jumper vehicle was connected?

Do you have a lot of rust on the truck? Check the ground cable on the inner fender near the fuse block. Also check and clean the battery terminals & cables. I've seen some that looked clean but had some corrosion that when cleaned, allowed the truck to start right up.

Check the cables/terminals at eh started too. DISCONNECT THE BATTERY FIRST SO AS NOT TO ACCIDENTALLY SHORT OUT THE POSITIVE CABLE AT/AROUND THE STARTER.

I'm not sure how old the truck is but its a yellow top optima battery and I will check the things u have said first thing when I get to work. And yes while jumpers were connected it was still weak thanks

I was asking about the age of the battery - should have made that more clear! LOL

Lol no I meant to say idk how old the battery is I know how old the truck is lol my fault. I've got the battery on charge and gonna get it tested later but in took the cover off my ecu and nothing was burned up or melted so idk what it could be
