This is the carb I purchased now I have been reading that is not really a Weber. Is this true?

MAZDA PICKUP B2200 WEBER 32/36 DGEV CARBURETOR CONVERSION KIT E-CHOKE K675 WK675

Should I return it and purchase the redline brand? another brand? I just picked one that said GENUINE figured it meant it was GENUINE.

I have read many of the older posts but I don't see a clear answer.

Thanks
Been lurking on this forum for years. Tons of great info.

I'm re-posting my response from the other forum.

First, you state above that it's a K675 / WK675 kit, but the link shows K662 WK663, so that confuses me even more.

I got one from feebay and had nothing but troubles. I ended up returning it and getting a Redline one.

My own kit (late 2005) was genuine Redline Weber, my only experience with B-truck and Weber.

I bought mine from webercarbsdirect.com, when I first put it on my truck ran like shit because the float was set way too high from the factory. After I adjusted it I haven't had any problems and the truck runs great. I'm not an expert on Weber carbs but the carb I got seems high quality and genuine.

You can research on google, Carbs from Ebay for the weber are cheap knock off from China, they have all the rights to weber from what I understand, they make it quicker/cheaper/ less effeciently. Redline is the only " Offical " True Weber carb setups i've found so far.

Unless u buy it from a red line dealer on eBay. But they aren't cheap... Maybe a few bucks cheaper than directly from Weber but not much. I spent 340+ on mine.

Thanks for the responses.
I am going to play it safe and return it and purchase a Redline.

Thank you
