I have a 91 mazda b2200 with a 2.0 swap it wont stay running i cant find any help it will run good for a min but whe i put it in gear and give it gas it wants to die then it just runs like crap

check to make sure that the pcm is hooked up, and that all the sensors under the hood as well.

We need some more information as well, like automatic or 5spd, electric fuel pump or mechanical, reason why a 2.0 was swapped in, stock carb or weber, pictures under the hood as well would help a lot too.

Its a auto with a mechanical fuel pump and stock carb and im not sure why some one put a 2.0 in it and ill take some pics

Anyone know why Mazda only used electric fuel pumps with the automatics? Could this be a source of his issue, using mechanical pump with automatic? Just asking....

LOL.., I recently purchased a B2200 that also has a B2000 motor in it. I could not tell at time of purchase, because of the massive oil leak. I fixed the leak and cleaned the engine bay. Although it runs and drives good, it has very low power. IDK about yours, it sounds like you have a fuel delivery problem. Clogged fule filter, weak pump, clogged sock in the tank, or maybe you still have the electric pump in the tank and it is wwhat is causing the restriction??
