c notch

OK guys trying to get rid o some axle slap what would be the best c notch I don't want to cut the bed looking for a small notch

You could do something like this but would need to weld it in solid.

I've seen bolt on kits but I want to weld one. On this truck ibdont want air ride but want to put it on springs also would I need a 4 link after I cut the frame

Wasn't sure if you were asking if you needed a 4 link after cutting the frame. You can still run leaf springs with a c notch. You can weld in the kit Nick posted. The only difference is the bolt in kits have holes drilled for the bolts and you could always plug weld those.

Or you could just cut out a notch, and weld in a section of pipe. That's essentially what you're asking for anyway.

im thinking about going ahead and putting the 8" c notch in. Im probably going to just bag it f it lol but what size pipe did you use anyways

I think it was a 4" pipe, 1/4" thick.

How long did it take I might just do that until I can get my full setup

I did it in a couple of evenings. It could get done in a day if you've got the time to put into it.
