As long as the width will fit in the box, then you cut out the rear corners and turn them inside out, and re-attach by Tig welding, or JB weld for aluminum. It is a putty type that you knead together.

Make it fit!!

Oh, these pics. are old, as I now have this toolbox in my Blue ext. cab truck, so just envision this truck as being the same, but w/out the stripes, and it as being blue and chrome..., OK?

So Remember, as Men.., (and ladies?) If it does not fit...,

MAKE IT FIT!!!

P.S..,
While you have it out, you might as well put some "Bling" on it, by cutting on the box some more, and wiring up a 3rd brake light!

Do it already !!

My cross bed tool box is 1995 Delta, single lid, and fit into my B2200 Cab Plus without hitting anything, was a model for mid-size trucks. So I didn't need to modify mine.

Did you use some sort of torch to cut out those corners? I don't have such tool or welding stuff.

I used a disc air w/a cut off disc. You do not want to use anything that will remove too much material when you make the cut. I also did not have a Tig welder, and when I asked the local shop how much? they said 200 dollars, so .., never mind, JB weld has held well for over a year already.

I washed out the toolbox when I transferred it to the blue truck and it still holds water, even with the questionable looking joints inside the box.

No brag, just fact. I am pretty sure my "Box" can hold more than yours.

Just to gauge the size, I have this picture of a.., not a pint, not a quart.., but a ONE GALLON can of "Kilz" and It fits perfectly, with plenty of room in the section in front of the wheel well w/out any problems.

Deep !!!!

I believe mine is the Delta 905000 white single lid model, 60.6 x 20.6 x 11.4 inches, states 5.8 cubic feet. A deeper size box is 7.8 cubic feet and 3 inches deeper and just a tad wider, may be similar to what you have.

My '98 Frontier has a diamond-plate single-lid model, was substantially less than the white model back in 2004.

I went the other way for mine I cut the box instead of the toolbox, but then again it wasn't on my b but my beater trailer. It's filled with snow right now or I would take pics.
