Help! I have an 86 b2000 with a 5 speed. It started making a bad noise except when the clutch is depressed. Need a new throw out bearing right? So I bought a clutch kit, dropped the tranny installed the kit, put it back together. It is still making that noise! What else could it be? I have dropped the tranny twice, everything is installed right. Is there another bearing in there? And not the little one on the end of the shaft behind the pressure plate and clutch I replaced that one too it came with the kit

Its most likely input shaft bearing in the transmission, mine is making the same noise I just dont want to drop the tranny and rebuild it yet. plus I don't have the time.

Through out bearing will make noise only when the clutch pedal is pushed down.
