Any one have a 87 b2600 carb?

Whats up guys.
I wonder how many guys have a truck like mines. Its a single cab 87 2600 carb . For me its rare so far i seen 1 like mines . I have found serval ones but they are 2600i . So i wanned to know if some one has one that its carb and have done a carb swap . I swap the carb to a weber but having a little problem with the spring that returns the gas cable in the carb . Gets stuck
On the choke bar . When i press the gas i can feel its getting stuck . I wanned to see if u guys made a
Special bracket . And get ideas . Thanks . Pics will be awesome even just to see another b2600 carb. Happy new years.

it is a known problem with the B series trucks using the Weber carb that the spring included in the kit is far too weak. Other members of both forums use a stronger return spring from a hardware store. On mine, (87 B2200) I have a Weber 38, and my return spring is mounted on the EGR valve.

You can use an S-shaped steel part from the hardware store, and screw it down with one of the EGR bolts. And get a stronger spring; I use one from Ace Hardware.
