1991 2.2 head on an 1986 2.0 block

will the 2.2 head work on 2.0 block?

what issues may i run into?

They are the same head. Just make sure your cam caps stay with the head they originally came with.

You will also need to use the front plate (distributor housing) for the 2.0 because the deck height is different.

You may need to use the carbureted camshaft so it has the fuel pump eccentric, and if I were you I would put the B2000 solid lifter rocker arms on the B2200 head.
