ok guys and gals I have a chance of getting an 88 Mustang 2.3 5 speed 91xxx miles. Here's the bad thing I might be trading my Mazda for it. My build thread is in my sig. here's a link to the cl add. the guy seems really interested in my truck. I'm going to go look at it this weekend and vice versa. I would end up giving him all my spares for the Mazda, and he is giving my a bunch of stuff with the fox.


I need opinions guys.

I would but the frame and body are starting to rot. I will get another B down the line that's in a lot better nik than mine, and I've always wanted an extended cab.

If I were you I would keep the truck. How bad is your truck starting to rot?

both sides above the front spring mounts in the rear. I really need to make fish panels or something before they collapse. and the cab corners, bed corners, and core support. You can see most of the body rust in my ugly duck album. I don't have any pics of the frame thou.

I would keep the B man. Put the work into getting it fixed! Body work isn't the hardest. Just don't want you to regret the trade! I know I would!

The body work doesn't concern me. I don't care what the body looks like. But the frame and core support really concern me. I don't know how to weld yet. I don't really know if I want to sell it. I have had it for 8 years. and have done a ton of stuff to the b, but now that I have 2 Toyota's I don't need 3 trucks. I have thought about putting the motor and trans in my parts toy but I would have to do a ton of wiring. And I suck at wiring. That and I've really wanted a fox.

Yeah that concerns me as well. It is a ton of work it just all comes down to how badly you want the fix and also how badly you want to keep your B! Their hard to come by these days! I live in salt lake city and I have only seen 6 or 7 b series trucks on the road!


I have a question! Do you know anything about e fans? I have a 16 inch Mishimoto s blad fan and I'm wondering if it wilbe enough to cool my B I have a 2 row radiator already. How much CFM do I need to cool a 2.0? You wouldn't think very much
