Are mishimotos a good fan? I have a 16 inch s blade. Just wondering if it will cool my truck efficiently. 2.0 five speed with a b2200 two row rad.

Should do just fine, provided it isn't rated with a low cfm.

Its rated at 1850 cfm.. I heard 1500 is enough but I want to be sure! Gambling with a motor when it comes to cooling!

I was going to say between 1500 and 1800 would do you right.

Okay sweet thanks man! Its a sweet fan and I havethe flexalite temp control modual. Pretty pricey but I have heard a lot of good things about them! Are you running an electric fan?
sincitylocal   +1y
Yes, but I have a V8 in my truck, with a Chevy radiator. I actually run two fans on the radiator... 12" and 16".

What brand of fans do you run?

Does your controller have spade connecters for the main power lines, or does it have pigtails. The reason I ask is because I have the older style with spade connecters. If you tug on them very hard at all pulling a power lead off, the spade connecter will break look from the circuit board and you will end up with an intermittent, or no power connection at all. This was a common problem and why the new models have pigtails.

If you have the old style, I would make an intermediate pigtail with spade connecters and leave it installed in the controller. Then just unplug the end other end up from your wiring if you even need to remove the controller.
