My recently purchased1986 B2000 has 15" rims

How wide of a rim can you go with 15's? 2wd 87 B2600, looking for something to make the truck look a little beefier, was thinking of going with 15x8.5 rims and then maybe 235/75-15 tires.

The 8.5 inch wide rims have 3 inches backspace. Will this work?

265/70/R15 in rear, 235/75/R15 in front. No power steering.

have run 225/70/15 on mine since 1994. closer look at my now 20yr old wheels.Yeah I am a clean freak.
