So, if you watch my other projects im currently building a 97 chevy cheyenne. Now soon down the road im dropping either 5.3 or a 5.7 whichever is available at the time into it. now, it has a4.3 vortec that once pulled im setting aside for when i find a b truck. Opinions on a 4.3 into the b? It will be built and supercharged. -eyebrow wiggles- but i want to have a solid static drop, or should it be left stock height and re enforced frame wise? Just looking for opinions. Rough estimates an read ups on the build il do to the motor put it well near 400rwhp. An thats movings full size like mine 12 secs roughly in the 1/4. Wtf would it do too a b???? 0.o all i can say us BWWWWUUAAAAAAAA LOL

Frame is fine for 400hp but you will have some trouble with traction with the leafs in the back. Would recommend a 4 link with coil overs. With the leafs you will get crazy axle wrap and blow rear ends every time you launch (if you run blocks its even worse). I learnt the hard way, ended up going through about 3 rear ends over 10 years.

Should mention that it had a 5.0 from a 93 mustang with approx 300hp.

Thanks, i'll keep that in mind. Not sure if a 4 linknis something i can do myself. Or if i should look for a truck with a bag in progress and go my direction with it. It will be more a play toy than a dd
