I have done a few things, got a chrome grille and bumper 3 weeks ago, converted my corner lights to signal lights since I accidentally ripped the wiring out of one of the bumper signal lights .
The week later, I installed my 10.5lb steel flywheel, with the counterweight, it is 14lbs, stock is 22lbs, so an 8 lb drop sure makes a difference.
Today, I changed my differential gear rato. I installed the front gears from a 2000 Kia Sportage, which uses a 7" Mazda differential like on our trucks, except it is a 4.778:1 ratio, compared to the trucks 3.909. Another huge difference, no driving around the city in 2nd or 3rd gear. Speedometer is off a whopping 27% though with the gear swap and my smaller summer tires lol. Feels like I am badly speeding everywhere, but I am keeping with traffic. I also installed a clutch type LSD from my 86 RX7 non turbo donor car, it was high mileage, and likely worn out, but I put it in anyway. Since I am using an RX7 transmission, my highway cruising is within 200RPM of the stock B2200 in top gear at 60MPH.
Next on the list is an exhaust refresh, one of my Magnaflow's is rattling, so I am going to install a 6" round straight through muffler, 27" body length in 2.5" pipe. I currently have a 7" round Magnaflow XL in 2.25" pipe, and possibly get a different muffler to replace my 12" oval Magnaflow, its turning gold, so its probably all melted inside lol. I also have to add some extra hangers, and get better header flange gaskets, I have one leaking and its right by my shifter, so it is very noticeable in the cab by me (header is on RH side of transmission when sitting in drivers seat).
