Hello!
My 1988 b2200 has an oil leak cooming from the adjustment allen screw of the oil pump (see pictures). The oil pump is new... any advice?

Also, I just rebuilt the motor and the darn damper is wobbly.... arghhhh! I see the little space were the key of the crank sprocket goes is out of shape... should i replace the damper?

Thanx!

If the crankshaft key recess is OK, but the pulley itself is wallered out, yes - I'd replace the pulley, sure don't want to damage that crank, that's for sure.

As to the adjustment screw in the oil pump - and I'm asking here - can one remove that readily without some spring flying out and getting lost - then I'd remove it and wrap the screw with PTFE (teflon) tape and re-install.

I don't know what would happen if I unscrew that bolt... And I haven't found info on the web yet...

I will replace the damper-pulley also just to be safe, because the crankshaft key is fine.
Thanx cusser!

Leak doesn't look too bad - I'd wait until someone with knowledge posts about that - some here and on mazdatrucking.com have old pumps they could take apart, or would just know.
