I'm a few years into my build and I'm starting to feel a bit overwhelmed, I'm finding it harder and harder to stay motivated. Thats why I'm asking for some advice on how to stay motivated and what can I do to get back on track? Thank in advance for any info you can give.

What is your project? Got any pics?

Car shows, local cruise ins or meets. Seeing other peoples builds on this site keep me motivated too!

Project is a 86 B2000. I don't have many pics, and the ones I do are on my page. It currently has a 3/4 drop kit and that's about it.

Throw a car cover on it and take a break. Go out and enjoy your other interests for a bit. In no time you will be wanting to hit a show and then get back to working on it. If you don't you will end up selling it for next to nothing for parts and we will be another B down.

...... and when you do get back to it have that notch redone. In the pic in your garage it looks really unsafe.

Been there done that mistachalk.

If I may, if all isn't good in your world, it's very very important that your life is in order which will allow you to use the project as a good distraction not "just another thing I HAVE to do". With work, family and your health being the triangle or life if you will; you need at last two of those in near perfect order to have the mind set to take on more or difficult things.

If all is well in mistachalkville take a step back, go to a show specific to your project, talk with others doing the same thing and make it fun for you. Also post your project here and get others input, you'd be surprised what talking to others can do.

Lastly, it is entirely possible this is not the project/path for you. Bottom line, be happy and have fun. No one should ever do something they are not happy doing, for whatever reason.

Good luck, Dan
