My brackets don't fit my ss5 bags

Hey guys I bought the slam specialties ss5 bags and the torsion bar bracket kit from thorbecke bros / quality air. The guy told me the bracket would fit the ss5 and 2500 bags. The bracket is and inch wider all around the bag .and only the middle bolt will line up is this unsafe and should I make the bracket smaller to fit ? I'll post a pic in a few hours

Bottom bracket? Bottom of bag only needs one bolt but more is safer.

Bottom bracket only needs one bolt. Use a lock washer to be safe...

Jason Thorbecke knows his shit. He wouldnt steer you wrong.

I have the same kit and only using 1 bottom bolt on my bags too. Going on 3 years and never had a problem. Use a good grade 8 bolt and lock washer and it will be fine
