so my b2200 idles fast, checked nomal things that it might be, found out it may be because coolent temp sender kicking on choke, gauge on dash never comes up even tho it's blowing hot air. went to napa to get sender and they tried to sell me one with two wires,(mine has one) asked why and they printed up wiring diagram and it said there where in fact two senders and one coolent temp switch (on radiator) (which i found and has two wires) but the diagram said that all the senders had two wires, more than a little frustrating!.. also the diagram showed the wires being a different color coding then my truck truly has. aarhhgg! any idea's my new friends? super fun truck otherwise!

Sender for the dashboard temperature gauge is just under the coolant outlet pipe that houses the thermostat, that works the gauge only, and won't affect the running at all. At this time of year, not uncommon for the gauge not to get into the "range" on shorter drives. That sender has one wire.

There's also a sender for the engine control, think that's green (top of my head) and on the block itself.

A third sender has two wires and is in the radiator, believe that's for the PTC heater under a stock carb (two wires).

Welcome to the forum!

If you haven't already figured out the big box parts stores no longer have the "know how" - they are all the same now unless you find one with a "old" guy (50 or more) working the counter. You must do a bit of research to determine what you are going to "tell them" you need. I even walk in with a part number to help speed the process.

Now sine you've already done the research and you know the part you need why not order it from Rockauto.com, even with shipping you'll save a lot of money - provided you don't need the part today which you can't even get from a big box store these days any more (except alternators, starters and brake parts).

My knowledge pales compared to Axel Breaker Earl, Dan Woodland, SinCityLocal, and others...
