around) Built and installed Mustang 289/ auto-wife and I took a 6 week trip, to Cal. in it, camping every night, via Denver, Sacramento. Hit the coast there, drove the coast highway to San Diego, fresh fish cooked on the beach every night, then a back to MS through El Paso from July- August 1974. Missed a curve, rolled it.

I tend to (hopefully) make the right decisions and keep vehicles a long time.

For me:
1970 VW bug, still have (purchased in late 1972, the newest vehicle I'll ever have)
1971 VW Convertible, still have (purchased in 1976)
1979 Toyota truck (purchased in 1986), sold just after purchase of B2200
1988 B2200 Cab Plus (purchased in 1994, drive daily)
2004 Frontier King Cab (purchased in 2012 as my B-truck replacement for the future)

However, I did buy a 1998 Frontier in 2004 with 100K for my kids to drive in HS and college, that was returned to us about 15 months ago so Mrs. Cusser drives it almost daily, and I drive it out of town as more power than my B2200, plus air bags and ABS, so safer.

All those above are four cylinder and 5-speed too.

Mrs. Cusser has a 2005 Yukon we got in 2010 to tow the horse trailer. Before that she's had used 1988 and 1994 Suburbans, a used 1984 Jeep Cherokee, a 1982 Firebird 4-cylinder she bought new, and a used Pinto while in college.

The first Mrs. Cusser had a 1975 Chevy Luv truck.

1. 1986 mazda glc learned to drive stick on this and wrecked it into a bank drifting on gravel in the first couple weeks I had my liscence. Kept going for a little while

3. 1990 Ford taurus SHO, prob one of my favorites, except I spent more time working on then driving. In 5 years I put 2500 miles on it
4. 1995 chevy silverado 1500 bought in 2000, still got it, on its 2nd engine rebuild and ready for its 3rd rear end, or is it the 4th
5. 1996 suzuki sidekick 4 door, one of my favorites, had alot of fun in that thing. Flipped it once, and used to wrap the speedo to 0 all the time

The first 6 on the list were before I turned 20, learned to treat things better since then. Funny story totaled the glc and century in a head on collision with my mom! and it was her fault!
