Ok guys, I of all people understand that as our trucks become more 'vintage' parts start to become harder to find. What I would like to know is what are you guys using to fix things in your truck that would be found in a hardware store? Yes, you may also include the aluminum drier duct for the cold air intake or the riser tube if you really did that. No you may not count zip ties from the electrical department to make your wires prettier, or glue to fix something that just simply 'broke.' Pics make this more entertaining.

really guys? I guess I'm going to be disappointing a lot of members here when I find a full metal one once she's up and running again, I may have to keep her to the side and interchange it out when I need to haul small and heavy.
I also forgot about the weatherstripping that I used to fix the ac vents, lol. Here's pics of em all:

and how she is sitting right now. Note I did chop the walls down considerably, I find it more useful this way plus I can see. Also that roll cage is long gone.

Guess I should mount some lights that work with the same pigtail and have the ability to swap em out when I need. I am going to be going with a real bed here and find a camper shell to match my trailer setup though, that's what I am going for.

now, back on topic. Let's see the hardware special repairs for our Bs

I'm guessing by the silence that it's not as cool as it looked in the first picture. I did manage to clean off all those metal brackets and sand her smooth. I also put the side fenders back on, but only to the height of the deck itself. So right now she is a true flatty. If I decide to keep it that way for an extended time I will sand and re-urethane.
