F$%& hose clamps

they annoyed me enough on the mazda... old ones came loose several times and caused coolant leaks, so i actually followed the advice of get new ones whenever you change hoses...etc.

Im trying to get an apprentice paint and body job, I can weld, do electrical, and suspensions, but im not great with engines yet... and im not a painter, just want to learn more sheetmetal work on older cars...

reassembling a 67 mercury comet someone who quit the shop, left a pile of bolts and parts for me to dig through... took about a week and a half to re-assemble someone else's mess.

i left early for an appointment yesterday, he hands the car off to the customer, and it comes back... coolant leak, automatic trans fluid leak.
I got blamed for part of the tranny line that i didn't install, never saw it off the car. then bitched at for "not tightening hose clamps" which I'm positive i did, cause those spots leaked on me when filling coolant.

so i have a pissed off boss, that is thinking I'm incompetent over small metal rings with screws on them that cant seem to stay clamped fucking shut...
sent home today, go back tomorrow. I'm trying to get a full time slot there, and little life happens B.S. from yesterday seems to be ruining my chances.
