Well i been gone from the site for a lil over 4 months, but been for a good reason. On morning of march 8(mardi gras day) 15 mins before time to get off work( nightshift), my right foot got crushed, breaking all the bones in the top of my foot as well as severing circulation to the first three toes. After surgery and several weeks of hyperbaric oxygen therapy, These ended up dieing and i had to have them amputated as well as the layer of skin on top of my foot. So for the past 4 months been having to lay around with my foot proped up while the mazda sat outside untouched. Well been released to start putting weight on and starting physical therapy. Well with me starting to get around now and the months of money saved up from me laying around, progress soon to start. On a side note truck is in the shop getting a rear diff rebuild

Wow, welcome back. Nice truck. Sorry about your foot and all. I don't know if medical marijuana is something they can prescribe legally in Louisiana, but I M an old guy . . . 54 . . . and I've had knee surgery and motorcycle wrecks and I get migraines, and I put THC in my food to lift my pain.

You can take an aspirin bottle, or some other bottle with a tight screw down lid, and throw the aspirin away. Then I pour in some lemon extract. Then I put in about 1.5 - 2.0 grams of pulverized marijuana, and shake it around inside the bottle with the lemon extract. Then I can pour some into water, iced tea, hot tea, or I suppose you could pour it into orange juice.

The idea is to get enough in your system to lift the pain.

Thanks man. Pain isnt that bad in it, i have meds and pain killers and all that but i havnt took any in lil over a month and a half, been trying to get off it all and with my work, drug testing so they wouldnt allow that but would understand on the pain killers. but that is a good idea, just couldnt work in my situation, plus i work on the mississippi unloading cargo ships, heavy equipment, bigs cranes, working around stuff like that. And ill be looking foward to the settlement and job advancement im getting out of this injury, missing 3 toes and one being my big toe. plus scars on foot and leg from skin graft.

We need to talk further about a number of issues regarding your injury.

I need to upgrade this computer though.

The Ram just came in.

I have to give my computer a transplant.

I have to ram it into my computer.

But first I have to kill my computer.

I have to shut off its life support.

My computer has to die.

If I botch this operation, I won't be back, according to my computer.

I'll be back. Ramified.

Me = 0
Computer = 0

Neither of us won that round.

It puked the memory selection.

So I think I need "un" buffered RAM. As in more THC.

thanks jrock, yeah i talked to the shop today and yeah its costing me out the arse for it, 880 full diff rebuild. One of my seals went bad and leaked the oil so burnt up all my bearings and races, said surprisingly the ring and pinion and spider gears werent harmed. So i get that with a full one year warranty and to fill with royal purple, told him to go ahead check u joints, carrier bearing, all brakes, front hub bearings, and my check engine light(prolly just O2 sensor). Granted i can do all this besides the diff rebuild(prolly could if i read up on it, but why he has it he can go ahead and its a lil harder for me to get up and down. And yes compensation comming and my company isnt small and looking to bump up to crane operator(more money and hella hours), so be on the lookout for a build thread

Yes it does a little but ill never be able to wear flip flops again or feel sand between my toes and being from myrtle beach im a big beach guy, but ill deal i guess, yeah pretty painfull, up 25 feet on a clam bucket, it was a slow crush that couldnt do anything about, then had to climb down on one foot, get my steel toe boots off, wait on a crew boat, get off the rig on a crew boat, ride to the dock, then onto the dock, up the dock then like an hour ride to the hospital
