Google+ is now open to the public...no longer invite only. Google+ is the new social media site. WAY better than Facebook. Check it out if you haven't and get on there. If you've got an account already, let us know. Need to get me a Mazda circle going.

Haha Baha, that and so much more. Besides the normal status updates, you've got Hangouts, which is video chatting with up to like 9 people I think it was. You've got instant chat that allows a bunch of people at one time to chat together. And there's more.

You can follow people without being a friend of them...like Twitter.

In addition to following people, you can search for interesting stuff to share about particular topics in the Sparks section on the side menu of the main page. Click Sparks, and search for things that you're interested in or browse through the featured topics; if you want to pin a search on your sidebar for easy future access, click the Add Interest button under the search field."

There are so many things that we already use Google for, so why not Google+ as well. You've got Google reader (blog subscriptions), photo service - Picasa, Gmail, Calendar, search, etc.

Video chat with up to 9 people at a time is a pretty awesome feature. Haven't done it yet, but the option is cool imo.

Instant photo and video uploads from your phone.

Spark - search for topics that interest you...Mazdas

Might have to check it out. I agree with todd the new fb thing sucks. Though it remains unchanged on my phone which is nice.
