saw this on the street

probably the worst work i've ever seen here locally, there's a car club here called Air Borne Customs (ABC) and almost all of the guys drive bagged mazda's but do some of the shittiest work i've ever seen.

bad unsafe welds just slopped on
parts rubbing
rust
just look at how bad the bed sidewalls are flared out
i'll get some pics of some more of there work, not that i like doggin' on other peoples work the group of guys seem pretty cool.

Hey if the guy seems pretty kool try to educate him...send him this way and lets make his dog safe and keep the spirit alive.

Just don't follow the guy down the road... Lost parts are sometimes hard to avoid while driving behind junk.

I like verts. Maybe it is a work in progress. It does disappoint me when I see something that is hacked together, it makes the rest of us look bad. But...you have that in all forms of auto customizing. The tradtional rodders have the "rat rods" and we have these guys. I don't know if they just don't know any better or they are just in a hurry to get out on the street. Hopefuly this is just a phase in this truck's life and it will get straightened out.

why are you posting pics of my truck.... i worked hard on it and i spent lots of time, sweat and tears on it....

just kidding... i also hope that it is in a phase and the guy that is driving it knows that he needs to finish it and make the scene proud....

That bed looks alright but thats alot of flairing.Should have swapped the 4x4 fenders if your flairing like that.Alot easier.

heres is what we have.. see old school hot rodders have rad rods yes. but those rat rods are built really well.. just made to look under built.. ( and im sure both hot rodders and rat rodders have their hacks too) what we have in the minitruckin scenen is this.. we have trucks that drive.. trucks that trailer. and trucks that drag... now they are all built different.. trucks that drive are built well 9 for the most part) when the guys know what they are doing) trucks that show are buitl with shinny things.. might run, but who really cares if a bolt isnt to torque spec.. and then there are the guys that build draggers.. trucks that usually are flat black might have shitty body work.. but for the most part are built well.. every one of these sectors in the mini scene has its build well , and not built so well.. some people just dont get it.. and those people should ask for help.. or save enough money to build it right isntead of what they can afford ( i think thats a bigger factor than all) or send your truck out to have it built right..

we dont have alot of minis up here.. we sell as many bags in canada and the state of cali... but we do have built well and built poorly.. some of those guys are still learning, and others are just stupid..LOL
