A little paint and such

So there's no real point in modding my B4000,but there's always little stuff you can do.

For instance,my original rims were pitting and peeling beyond beleif,so I sanded them down and painted them black.



Smoked my tails using Duplicolor Metalcast Black Chrome



And smoked the corners too,as well as added a mesh grille insert that I made from GutterGuard lol.




Looks a little different.I always liked the silver/black combo. When I get new tires for the truck,I'm definetly getting some nice white letter tires.

looks good and the gutter guard for a mesh insert is something i bet alot of people would never have thought about

Looks sweet. I like the black wheels. You mind if I copy someday? What paint did you use on them?

I actually just used Krylon Fusion on them cuz that's all I had laying around. I recommend sand blasting or using a palm sander on the rims,cuz sanding them by hand with 80 grit for 3 hours suck ass and they still aren't smooth. I finally got tired and gave up sanding,so I just cleaned them and spayed several coats of black and then clearcoated them.

The GutterGuard grille trick is a little one I learned from the Ford Contour club a couple years ago,as guys would use it in their lower bumper opening.It's flexible unlike the steel mesh,so it won't dent or bend if stuff hits it.

Kool I will take not. I have a dremel and a little air powered grinder/ sander with a buffing belt on it. Gotta love tools. Anyways man it looks real good.

i painted them more as a repair than as a mod,because they looked terrible before.

I'd like to paint the holes in the spokes a dark grey or something just to give it a little something else cuz they look kinda plain from far away.

Ideally,I'd just like to pick up a set of Ranger rims because I never liked these 3 spoke wheels.

Hell I like the black three spoke. I have some funky alum wheels... Dont like them at all.
