Took the wife, kids, Mazda, and VW to the drive-in theater..

Had a good time last night... Took everyone to the drive in for the annual cruise night. Watched Wall-E and attempted to watch Kung Fu Panda (I admit - I was exhausted!).

Had to stop at Target for batteries, and to compare ride heights...


Aimee drove the Bug! Second time she's driven it...


Not so evident from the pic, but we ate dinner at McDonalds.. I know, some fine dining, right??


The line at the drive-in was LONG... Good thing we got there when we did!


But there was interesting things to look at once we got in line and shut down.


I think we sat around for about 30 minutes before traffic started rolling again... We found good parking without a row of minivans in front of us (well, initially anyway).


The kids played on the playground under the big screen for a while... Essential to wearing them down enough to sit and watch a movie.



It was a long evening, but worth it when we finally got to this point.

man that sounds like fun. wish we had a drive in around here.

It was a hell of a good time, bro. Also the perfect night of the year to go to the drive in... Classic and custom car drivers got in for free!

They tore our drive in threater down to build 2 car lots, across the highway from like 8 car lots.

luckily we still have one here. its the only one for milesssssssss

Those are some sweet rides. And a definite 2 thumbs up to be able to include the wife and kids and have them enjoy it as much as you.

It would be cool if our drive in did something like that.
