so a 49cc engine is legal to ride on the street? register like a normal bike?
those bikes look pretty cool. i'm not so into the red one.
i just recently started getting into bikes. my neighbor is rebuilding a sportster (yeah... i know) and its actually looks kinda cool one and has asked me to do a little work for him. i built him some handle bars. turned out good i guess. lets see more bike pics!!
The 49cc is becoming a gray area. It was originally intended for scooters, and it was legal to ride them in the bike lane and you didn't need to register them. Then the minichopper fad came and all the china companies made a 49cc bike and everyone rode them. Now they crack down hard on about anything thats not registered. But companies still sell them and advertise them as legal. I sell mine with a "For offroad use only" kind of policy.
Mine was a 125cc. It would scream with me on it and Im 315 lbs. It also had turn signals, brake light, mirrors, vin #, all that. I never could find out a definet if it was street legal or not.
