I've gone crazy with Pre's!!

Well. This has been crazy. Wheeling and dealing over the past couple weeks, I've now ended up with two 84s and an 83.

A while ago I posted that I bought an 84 automatic. Well, I never picked it up and I'm not buying that one now. I bought an 84 from the junkyard for $300 as a parts truck, and it's super clean for what it is. I'm stripping it down and returning what is left back to the wreckers.

Today, I purchased an 84 B2000 Sundowner for $200. Very straight, and it RUNS, but it needs a clutch. It can't even move under it's own power.

And lastnight, I made a deal to trade my 88 straight up for a very clean 83 B2000. The 83 will become my daily driver and the Sundowner will be my project. The trade should take place on Saturday or Monday. What we're doing is a straight trade where I get her truck, and she takes my 88 and turns around and sells it for cash, but I'm going to help her sell it and do all the viewings and stuff.

If you want to get rid of one of those headliners let me know there could be a few things of the parts truck i might need if you want to get rid of them before its all over and you send them back i need some dash pieces too. Let me know if you want to get rid of them.

I will definetly have some parts available. You can probably have the blue headliner from the parts truck. Let me know what you need. I'm going to have a complete tan and complete blue interior to part out since the red truck is going to have a black interior and I already have everything ready to swap in. Just give me a list of parts you need and I'll get what I can. I won't ask much money for the parts, just as long as you're cool with whatever the shipping prices are as they'll be coming from Canada.

HOLY SHIT MIKEY, Seems like yesterday I remember all of your post in my threads were about wishing you could own one and now you got 3.

I am in desperate need of the following.
Upper and lower control arm on the passenger side.
Lower valence, since my other mint one disappeared.
The cups in the door handles.


LET ME KNOW PLEASE.


I need the control arms the worse.

Haha, I know, all of a sudden they all fall in my lap.

All the door handle cups I have are trashed or missing, and the valance from the parts truck is damaged from the tow truck.

I will be able to get you the control arms for sure though.

There's so many things I don't like about my 88, and it being an ext cab is about one of the biggest things. I was looking for a std cab when I bought it, but at the time, I needed a truck and it was the only one available in my price range without having to drive more than 4 hours.

I built Kermit, and I had that truck pretty much done how I wanted it, and now I've done this truck and it's pretty much building the same thing all over again, so I'm actually pretty bored with it. It just doesn't excite me any more. The truck also has some annoying issues with it that I just don't want to deal with.

I've been all about the 77-84s since I first saw one. Now I can finally dive into something new that I haven't worked on before.
