IDK should I lower it??

Although this is now going to be my all purpose camping/fishing/show truck..., I still need ground clearance .I like having a truck to haul things and it just seems that if you lower a truck, then you have defeated it's..., "Special Purpose".

I like this look, but I do not like the gap between the tire height and wheel well. Bigger wheels and tires cost money, and these tires are fairly new. As I have two of these trucks, I thought I would mix it up a bit and combine the wheel sizes. Factory OEM chrome 14" in the front and Pathfinder 15" chromies in the rear, on both of them.

I know that I could turn down the front height, but what do I do to the springs to get it lower, w/out defeating the "Special Purpose"

For your needs I think a great solution would be air shocks. You could lower it a couple inches and then install the air shocks. Those weekends you do need some extra ground clearance you just inflate the air shocks to raise it the 2 inches you dropped it. You wouldn't have to have any compressors or electric valves unless you wanted them.

Thanks. I turned down the front adjustments, and it seems to drive better, but steering is a little stiffer, even with power steering. 14" OEM chromies in the front, and 15" pathfinder chromies in the rear. The are so similar that it is hard to tell that they are different except that the mazda wheels are deeper and the hubcaps are different.

(This truck, although it is a 1993, I was trying to copy the look of the 1986 B2000 SE-5.) Whatta ya think?? Pretty close.., huh??

So, you are saying that with air shocks, I will not need lowering blocks for the rear?? I can just reduce the pressure, and it will lower it alot??
