wood bed floor... opinions? (front end conversion also)

i am gonna raise my bed floor like 4-6" and i was gonna do a white oak bed floor with polished strips, 67-72 chevy wheel housings for the bed. then smooth the bed walls, mold the ass end together with a combo skin and taillight fillers from grant. then put the gas tank in the rear of the bed with a gas lid in the wood. then, a chromed 12 gallon tank in the front of the bed with hard lines for the air into the floor with bulkhead fittings. what do you think?

i dont know if it would fit the truck ya know? specially be so high... i dont know man itd be different for sure, but an expensive project specially if not happy with it..

you could also do a dark stain floor or even a plexiglass or something like that between the stainless steel strips?

i was thinking wood as well...i think it would look great with a keg gas tank......

i'm goin hot rod with this truck... my mind was made up at the car show i got back from lately... i am doin like a tribute to Ed Roth... maker of the Rat Fink... cuz where did mini truckin come from? HOT RODDING! who was the guy that was a big part of hot rodding? Ed Roth... so ya... Black gloss with Yellow/fade orange flames... pinstriped in blue, with blue pinstripin on the tailgate, a raised rat fink shifter...

if your going with the ed roth look you will need to do alot of gold leaf...did you make it to dropzone??
