wheel base on 83 mazda's

i am looking at an 83 mazda that a cousin of mine has but its a long bad and i want to cut the frame and make it a short bed and i was woundering if one of you that own one happens to know what the wheel base is thanks for any info chris ps i will post pics of my 87 mazda as soon as i can its just stock for now i have been so busy working and going to school and with a family and all its kind of hard to find time

Short base is 4,510 aka 177.6 and 4,920 193.7 for long bed. wheel base short bed... 108.7 and long base 117.5... how that helps... came out of a mazda workshop book!

i went and talked to my cousin and he told me no he didnt want to sale it so i will put all my money in my 87 thanks for the info
