Visual to Audible Asthetics...

I'm going to soon be building the audio portion of my maz. Im going with a classic muscle/chopper theme to the build. Anyways....I am putting a blow-thru in the bed with 4-CVX 12 firing into the cab.
You wont see much of the CVXs in the dark. So, here's what I want to do:
Cover the face of the box in velvet, or something that doesnt reflect light.
Put nice grilles on the subs.
Illuminate the inside the box. (hidden lights).
Already bought the grilles for teh cheap today. Here's a couple pics. First pic was with the flash on, second was without. Opinions?

i like it. Those are sweet grilles.
In my old Ford Contour,the speakers were all in the doors,so I put blue LEDs behind the speaker grilles to illuminate them. It looked pretty cool,especially since I went all ricer and had blue footwell lights and one of those old skool Power Acoustik see through amps that lit up.
