I am totally new to the whole dslr photography and the camera itself, but with a little practice and guidance I have pulled off some savage pictures....

Had the camera for a little over a month now, no where near where I want to be quality wise, but take a look and let me know what you think....

These shots are all original images with minimal to no photoshop added!!!!

Those traffic shots could be referred to as "ghost shots"...All it involves a a delayed/slowed shutter speed for an extended period of time e.g. 6-12 seconds

All this does is make stationary objects seem crisp compared to objects that are in motion during that time...

Now to make a real "ghost" shot you would use that same method, but with people...Have a bunch of stationary people and someone moving in front of them while the shutter is delayed...

Perfect example:

Notice that the person in the white gown seems to be a "ghost", but if you look closer you can see the blue jeans they are wearing...everyone else is still during the shot, but that person...

Easy!

So why no cars in the ghost shots? ? Did they get shopped out? ?

Yea...double exposure is cool.

Joh the ghost shots you take a pic then set the timer to pic again in a matter of seconds (10 seconds worked best for me) and say if you had a line up of cars and people...then take the shot and in that 10 seconds have the people move out of the way..shot takes again....you will essentially have them "ghosted"

Dev...did you get a remote with yours? They make a tiny lil remote guy that you can use to get yourself in the pic and be standing so many feet away....I did my shooting with a tripod....some came out pretty wicked.

also Dev...you might be having a guy contact you about some bags for a 2000 dakota or a dodge of some form....hooked him up with your site and name to contact you.

Because the cars are moving at such a high rate of speed (60-70mph) and the shutter speed wasn't very slow..it was only a few seconds rather than 10-12 seconds...
