OK.. i replaced my clutch about a year ago.. no biggy right? Well the shop that did it didn't put locktight on all the bolts holding the tranny to the engine.. and this christmas some of the bolts worked themselves out and i dumped my tranny fluid. Thinking my tranny was gone.. crawled under there to discover that my tranny fluid was just empty because of this. SO.. i fixed the problem and kept on driving.. no problems. Well.. over the course of the last couple months i was getting a couple wierd noises, and just took it easy on her. Couple days ago my truck progressed from bad to worst. It shakes violently while in gear.. every gear. However when i push the clutch in it stops shaking. Anyone have any sudgestions on what to try and not try? I'm about to drop the tranny to look in there and see whats going on. But i would like to narrow it down. Because a used tranny is 500 bux... a new clutch is 200. What you think?
