Help pleas

Ok I am out at a frends place and his truck will not kick down. The Wire from the wire for the choke is not conected and I can not see where to plug it in and I do not have my truck as a refrence any help???

what is it idling at?

check vacuum lines around the carb, leaks can raise idle

I looked at all the lines ther all good it is the electric choke for shere it is not atached to any thing if I pull it down manualy it idls at 900 where it should be if i do not it is up at 2000 not good at all.
