I have a motor and tranny w/ 70k miles out of a b2200.. and my b2600i took a shit on the driveway.. she's done. So.. my question is can i complete the swap realistically? Or twat? I have a b2200 that the motor was going into.. but i'm having slight title issues.. any help appreciated.

i dont knoiw if the trannys are the same

but to keep it simple, just drop in the b2200 with all its emissions and stock carb..swap computers to a 2200...and if the trannys are different, just get a 5spd out of a 2200

the motor mounts may be different too...sorry im not too sure, i've never done it

I agree with Mark.
The B2600i is a G6I4, SOHC 12-valve timing chain motor configuration.
The B2200 is an F2, SOHC 8-valve timing belt motor. So they are different and have different bellhousings.
I would suggest that you look at how the B2600 tranny is bolted up to the block and compare it with the B2200. Look at the bolt patterns and go from there.
Otherwise, you have to figure out how to mount the B2200 motor and tranny to your B2600 chassis.

well he said I have a motor and tranny w/ 70k miles out of a b2200. so by swaping it all out i dont see why it cant be done as long as you have all the stuff like the ECU and wires might need a drive shaft as well

Ya I agree with Pont. As long as you have all the stuff from the 2200 motor you should be ok. Only part I'm not 100% about is the motor mounts. But I believe where they mount to the frame is the same, might just need the mount that bolts to the motor for the 2200. As far as the tranny thing goes. B2600 trannies will not bolt up to 2200 or 2000 motors.
