Ok after driving to my mr's house i noticed my clutch was being a little funny, it was only engaging when the pedal was quite close to the floor.

When I left I adjusted the pedal to see if that made a difference, it did a little, as i drove home the pedal just went further and further in, near the end of the drive I was kicking the clutch pedal as hard as I could to try and get out and into a higher gear.

When I was almost home, the cltuch was doing very little and I was pretty much forcing the gears into place

At the moment Im pretty sure it cant be driven as it can be put into and out of gear.

I just put gearbox oil in, wether or not this had anything to do with anything i dont know.

Also today I poped open the fuse box inside the car and noticed some fuses where not even there, so I put the correct fuses in - I dont know wether or not this had anything to do with anything either.

Also.. The pedal used to get stuck in its extended position. It did this about 5 times and stopped. This was about 2-3 weeks ago.

Arghhhh, fuck this has just ruined my weekend. If any one has any ideas on what it could be, or even just a quick fix so I can at least drive it to the mechanic, please help.

its the clutch slave cylinder.

just happened to me a week or 2 ago

I agree that it sounds like the slave cylinder. Probably just have to replace it and bleed the system. I just finished the clutch in my truck today and I also replaced the slave cylinder. It was only $13. All day project to replace the clutch but the cylinder and bleeding the system would only take about 30 minutes.

Where would i find the bleeder nipple?

i just replaced mine. get one from drivewire.com and i swear that part will be there in like 2 days with standard shipping, which i believe is free there. it mounts on the tranny and the bleeder valve is gold and it points upward at a 35 or 40 degree angle. you'll have to have someone pump the clutch pedal when you do this to get rid of the air in the lines, but where eye protection, i didnt, and got a face full of dot 3 fluid.
