ok . i got my motor semi ready to run( well i thought it was 100% ready today uh not ) I HAVE all the connectors connected except for 3 wires with plugs that don't have a another to go into.

i have power to :
headlights
horn
dome light
starter
battery
4ways

i don't have power to:

coil (on either terminal)
or ignition (no dash lights for oil battery alt , etc )
no wipers
no turnsignals.

COULD the problem be those 3 wires? I understood that you could wire a b2000 motor up to a b2200 wire harness ... IF i can't figure it out thru someone here i'm just gona tow it into town and have this guy look at it .. this is wierd.

Not sure what could be causing that. Where are the 3 wires located that you are having trouble connecting? It may be that they are similiar in wiring. The best thing would be to compare the harness to your old 2000 harness if there was any way. Also, maybe run to Autozone or Advance or some other local parts store and get one of those Haynes manuals. They seem to have a pretty good wiring diagram. One other thing that could be going on is that where the switch is on the colum may be different which would keep you from being able to get power where you need it. I could be wrong on that though.

i never pulled my b2200 harness out my b2200 . i never even touched the wiring under the dash .

I THINK its the wires that don't have a plug to em is whats causing the truck not to run . ... kinda wierd that i have power to the headlights and 4ways starter , and battery domelight , horn . But not to the coil . so i think one of those 3 connectors is the source for the coil and just don't know it yet . you know? I think im gona take a ride to the storage and look at the b2200 and see if i see the wires and what they are connected too.

Turn your ignition key to the "run" position and use a multimeter to check and see if any of those 3 wires are showing a +12V. Turn the key off and check again. If one of those 3 wires is showing 12V only when the key is on.. it should go to the coil. Cheers

heres the white plug that goes under the air cleaner .
well this is one of the plugs . I went to my storage where my red truck is now . and i took a look and i found that plug which is one of the 3 that i needed to find where it went . And the white plug i found out where it goes . It goes under the air cleaner ... now i think that plug above is what is breaking the electrical loop (persay) like a house circut .if you have a break in the wire connection between the house and the supply pole you don't get power. i think this is my problem . Now that i know where that plug goes (which i think is the main source of no power ) Now i need to get down to my bagged mazda and look at the block to see if that connector is there . if its not then the theroy that ppl said that u can wire up a b2200 harness to a b2000 motor is FALSE.

If you have 4 ways then you should have turn signals. The circuits run through the same wires. In the steering column is the switch that opens or closes the circuits that operate the signal lights. I would take the plastic trim off the steering column and spray some CRC electrical cleaner around the turn signal switch. It's probably dirty. Can't help with the rest, sorry.

this is odd. I'm running a JDM 2.0 motor and I never had any problems w. wiring up the motor. Eh maybe I did something that I dont know. All my lights work, motor runs and everything.....

id take pictures of my engine bay but there are wires everywhere now
