Just a follow up in case someone else ends up in the same boat. Timing should be 5-7 degrees BTC at a idle speed of 800-850 RPM. Cheers

I dont have a 2600.. Mines a 87 B2000 cab plus.. and it fired tonight for the first time since I bought it However.. it only did so because I poured a bit of gas down the carb.. apparently the fuel pump is toast.. another $40 at the parts store LOL Should be fully functional tomorrow evening though Cheers

Mechanical pump on the engine. No suction at the pump at all.. not too surprising. The diaphrams inside mechanical fuel pumps can harden if not kept lubricated,, and this one sat for a year here and it was sitting for a year or more before I got the truck.. was hoping I wouldnt need one.. but thats just how it goes
